unlucky to clint yesterday in that money match had alot of bad form but didnt play to the quality we know he can i think there could be a rematch on the cards for abit more money after speaking to clint last nite!!!

lakin can definately play. Be nice if one of these money matches involved some of the players own cash. Hell , i'd like to play matches with no liability for practice. Just think it would bring them on if it was for own cash. I lost a score and not bothered , i'd back clintos Again cos i rate him and want him to win matches but it isn't really a money match to my mind just a load of people betting against each other. Anyway next time quicker out the blocks kid.

Clint is a better player and pretty much everyone on this forum would agree but craig is an animal when it comes to playing for money and i think that when he hasnt put any money in the kitty himself it makes it easier for him. I think if both of them played their own cash like Ron says then it would be a true match as Clint would then have something to play for and i reckon Clint would definitely be at his best!

When we played money matches, ie when I took Eddie Charlton to play keith Brewer for £1,000 a side, Eddie had his own money, however Keith was backed totally, Eddie went 5-0 up then Brewer took the next 8 frames lol, we also had side bets, but Brewer was quite relaxed with no pressure on him to win.
When we took Paul Hallford to play Terry Hunt for instance, which again was £1,000 a side, Paul put in £200 and the rest was made up from backers. When we played away at the oddfellows arms in worksop, Paul was destroyed, however the rematch at the Bendigo was a different story, Paul practising there all day, we ran side bets and Paul won 8-1 with 5 8 ballers. Paul never felt comfortable just playing with others money and would only play if he had to put some in himself. I agree totally, the guys feel totally different when they are playing for other peoples money and none of their own.

any chance of this match happening i had a few people down yarmouth giving it large saying i had bottled out of this game. when its clint who is not getting back to me. im good to play whenever. but if you dont want to play just let me no ? its fine.

There as been a forum on the derby site saying im playing 4 matche's against andy :S?. I never agreed to that. i will play one game for £500/£1000 a man that's it. Im only guessing clint's not bothered about playing either. and im ment to be the one bottling out lol.
