After speaking with a few of the lads we have decided to finish as a team!!!!!!!!
A very sad day for me but i totally understand people wanting to better themselves and i would never stand in there way. Just as long as they have the balls to talk to me face to face and dont hide behind a telephone or ignone my calls.
Still very shocked but the only 2 things that gut me are that BEECHDALE wont have any real challenges for the next few years and the league will struggle even more now, than it already is.

To everyone that i play with at masters really enjoy your company and your all really good friends of mine. will see you lot around the pool seen!!!! good luck in everything you do in pool in the future, hopefully i will get back to the player i was before i became captain of the masters as my own game did really gone downhill.

Guys DONT bother me with phone calls or text over the next 2 weeks as im of 2 tenerife for 2 weeks tomoz and i cant wait!!!!

I will be signing for someone next season!!! but i will sort that out when i return from hols.

Time for the league to introduce a format for teams of 7 players, as most teams are struggling to get 9.

Royal Oak only had 5 players tonight.

and maybe with a new format you might start getting B sides from beechdale, Rileys, etc...

New team wanted

never thought I wouild say this Matt, but a good idea.

Whern one team tries to get a strangle hold may be changes are required.

Yes no one never see his one coming. That why I been saying need to look at league format before it too late in the last 2 season. Now look what happen. If this format carry on next 2 season. There won't be any team left in premier 2. Will end up just 1 premier..

I'll repeat this again about the NSPL getting the format right.
Before anyone bleats on about not copying them etc...all i would say is at least the format in NSPL gives teams flexibility. For instance if you only have 6 players 1 week and 12 the next, you are still able to give every player a game in either situation.
Maybe the league should look at trying to introduce some kind of format where players are able to play twice just to help smaller teams who struggle to get the players but which also means the bigger teams can still play how they do now?

You can repeat it all you like, That remains to be seen whether the format is correct, as everyone so succinctly puts it on this forum, teams are leaving ALL leagues.
Is the supremecist format really working? Have they got one or two divisions? Give us a credible arguement at least or are you just taking the piss, as usual?

Lol, i guess on this one occasion i'm not taking the piss.
Personally i think it works really well, especially for a team like ours where we struggle to get players, we know we only need 6 players but can have up to 12.
Just something to look at i think, gives teams options!
P.S. This is just my opinion. You can quite happily dismiss it, like you do all of the other suggestions if you like

I don't dismiss any suggestions unless you purport to back them up with groundless facts.... and keep repeating it
It may work for you, but thats the problem, you aren't everyone.
The system NOPPL uses is ok for some, but not everyone.
The format you are suggesting is not quite as successful as it could be, it may work better on a Thursday where there is less opposition.
You can take the horse to the water Justin...
I like the supremacist format, but I like a night out where more than 3 or 4 stay out, call me old fashioned. I tried to get a team together, this season, but the answer was nearly always the same.
The problem in my mind is there is too many leagues now, and NOPPL are suffering the consequences of leagues doubling up on certain nights. If we all had the same format, would that work?
Would you play for two teams on the same night with exactly the same format and travel across the county for the priveledge?

Why don't you do a vote on it or something?
I did say it was my opinion and not everyone elses.

I do agree Gaz about too many leagues and on teh same nights as others and it seems to be the same problem with the amount of weekend competitions aswell.. ask Curtis lol

The problem is keeping the big boys happy at the top or the Prem is not working as all the others are leaving due to credit crunch, world rules, other leagues, too difficult to survive in prem etc etc etc

I guess the league needs to decide if you want to improve the league and the numbers or just make 1 frightfully strong division !!!

As it stands with Masters pulling out, I wouldnt mind betting that Rileys 1 squad has just increased in size ( as if it needed to ) meaning the champs are already decided ... almost lol

reducing the numbers that are needed may force some to find other venues in order to get a game week in week out.

Yes i agree there are too many leagues and on the same night, but you aren't going to stop other leagues, so you might as well try and be the best league on that particular night.
The way i would go about that is too ask the players how they would like the league to change for the better, but no one appears to want to change anything.

Not quite right Justin, sorry to keep disagreeing with you, you are being constructive I know, there is another thread that Jim started purely for this stuff. I'm sure the mods will move our conversation there soon
