Members on this forum have been pushing for change for a while now, me included. The NOPPL Committee asked everyone to put forward suggestions to help try and kick start the league again. I have looked at the changes made by the Committee and my personal opinion is they have given it a great deal of thought. They have had to take all teams in both prem 1 and prem 2 into consideration, not just teams that have aired their views on the forum. Many teams have not put forward their views on the forum, but may well have done to Committee members. I think they have made steps towards making the NOPPL strong again. I don't think the format for prem 1 needed changing. So I am glad that it has stayed the same. But if it had gone to needing only 7 players playing a possible two games each per match, well we at Rileys 1 would have loved that. I think now is the time to get behind the changes made and see how they go for the new season. For me things that needed looking at in main were communication skills, organisation, the website and flexibility. I think this will be the key to success in the future.
Well done to all the Committee for listening and seeing change was needed. I hope you continue to make improvements where needed.

Pasta King.

I'm agree with the change. It would be good for the league if plan was done before sent out entry form that my point a view. But the end of the day. The decision had made. I just hope that 4 team who got more than 15 player don't have problem in winter that all.

Maybe some of those teams might consider putting 2 teams in Ian? and maybe yours

Well done to the committee for introducing these changes. They should get rid of Sherwood SC's biggest bugbear, the sometimes very late finishes. We've never had a problem getting players signed on, it's getting them all to turn up on the night that's hard, and this will reduce that problem as well.

In one of Greggo's earlier posts on this thread, he mentioned that the start date is 8th Oct. Can anyone on the committe confirm this please asap?

Why ask me mate. It not my problem. Why don't you ask your Secretary and find out which premier 2 team got more than 15 team and ask them whether they happy to have consider putting 2 team in. See what they say.

Longbow sounds like the type of team PM wants in the Supreme League.

I'm sure the England selectors thought if they took me on and gave me the job, I'd want to run the show. They were shrewd because that's exactly what I would have done
