Well the fixtures have now been published, here is week 1, good to see new teams joining for this season...

Premier 1

Cherry Tree vs Rileys One
Greyhound   vs Royal Oak
Rileys A       vs Jolly Farmers
Spot On B    vs Park Tavern A
Rileys B - Free Week

Premier 2

Longbow Outlaws vs Cruse Babes
Sherwood SC       vs Portland Arms
Crusader            vs Lady Bay
Top Spot           vs Phoenix Phannies
Park Tavern - Free Week

I'm sure the England selectors thought if they took me on and gave me the job, I'd want to run the show. They were shrewd because that's exactly what I would have done

Out of interest, why are we called Spot On B now if we are the only Spot On?
I know that you playing for us Petchy almost certainly does categorise us as a 'B' side    but i think we should change it!

Ouch that hurts, especially coming from a so called team mate

Maybe the B stands for Brilliant or more likely... Bottom.

Nah bottom is reserved for the Oak boys
Maybe we should be called Spot On 'S' ('S'econd from bottom)
Unless you can come up with something better?

Premier 1 Table
Rileys One - continue to rule
Park Tavern A - some new blood
Rileys A - Veterans dont get any younger
Cherry Tree - Averages dont win matches
Royal Oak Masters - Strength in depth
Jolly Farmers - old clifton boys
Greyhound - good crowd at home
Rileys B - new boys find it tough
Spot On Bottom - nuff said lol

Anyone care to challenge my prediction, i have been right for past 2 seasons

I fully agree, last season was a one off, we will not finish bottom this season.

I will go for:

Rileys One - Too good at the moment
Park Tavern A - Will run Rileys One close
Rileys A - Will benefit from playing majority of matches at their home venue
Masters (playing at Royal Oak) - May get distracted by the food
Cherry Tree - Not strengthened
Spot On - Will top the mini league of 4
Jolly Farmers - Will cause a few upsets
Rileys B - Thursday Uefa Cup matches in the background will upset the captain
Greyhound - Don't think will be strong enough

Here goes :

Prem 1 :-

Rileys 1 - too much quality
Park Tavern - Im sure will get the form back after their whooping on the first match of the season
Jokers - If they all turn up
Rileys A - Looks like a smaller squad
Cherry Models - Not strengthened as much as the others.
Spot on Bottoms - not this season !!!
Sun Valley
Rileys B - Prem 1 nerves to hit most of the squad .
Greyhound - Your turn for the wooden spoon boys

Prem 2 :-

Very close to call as it doesnt look like the full team sheets have been updated.

Phoenix
Tavern ( depending who is still to go on the sheet )
Sherwood
Longbow
Crusader
Top Spot
Portland Arms
Ladies
Lady Bay

Sherwood sc
Phoenix County ladies
Crusader
Longbow
Tavern ( depending who is still to go on the sheet )
Top Spot
Portland Arms
Cruise Ladies
Lady Bay

Stab in the dark really, depends who turns up on the night, Phoenix ladies will rely on the Burch and Kez
Sherwood look handy and Tavern could prove a handful with 1 or 2 more players
