Jolly Farmers 4-8 Royal Masters, first win for the Watnall wannabees on the lightning quick table at the friendly pub in Rudd, nice set of lads and good night incl grub(not curry PI)

After the Cherry Trees 8th player and 2nd oldest - and arguably best player - was escorted from the premises unable to utter a single intelligible word, there was only one way this match was going to go.
Both teams were depleted, the models missing Glenda, Tosh and Tom somebody-or-other… and flatnose, whilst Rileys were missing Lord Gonelston, Olly Brooks, George Daws and Martin Lovenest.
Despite a brave performance from the models they capitulated 9-3 to Riley’s A on a night when birthday boy Macca beat Ian Owen and Bilko cleared from Bash’s in-off-break.
3 out of 3 for Fat Patrick Swayze’s boys but there are sterner tests to come… and no not Riley’s B!

I am sure the Phannies won 7-3, I think I saw a facebook message to that effect.

I'm sure the England selectors thought if they took me on and gave me the job, I'd want to run the show. They were shrewd because that's exactly what I would have done
