rileys b 3 park tavern 9. rileys b had no more players after 7 legs, and therefore have now dropped out of the league. also john harvey u were bang out of order swinging your cue in the air, after missing a shot   luckily u did not catch anybody, especially in the face.

Rileys A won 9-3 against the Greyhound....

It was 8-Gaz until Mason got dished. Only dropped 11 legs in 4 games....

They was unlucky in a few to be fair, but we took our chances.

Good bunch of lads down there, really enjoyed it.

At Yarmouth you would expect this type of call off a pro ref!
but in a second div NOPPL match i think not!!
I am not saying that its not two shots, all i am saying is that its the type of foul never called, just a mention of it would have been enough.
I also understand that there are folk out there that have to take rulings by the letter of the law but there are also folk out there that think you "Rule freaks" need to get out more!

In my opinion it was a call from a desperate ref trying to keep his team in a race to 6 legs.

How many times in your illustrious career Mr Stanley, have you seen or heard of this foul called???

Must admitt i'm with you ady. It might be in the rules but often you have to ask whats the reason a rule exists. If you just leaned against the table and hadn't got down on the shot then i think its very harsh. We used to just say to opponents "no talking once someone has played a shot ok ?" and never had problems. Especially taking the context of the match into account. These guys just want to come out have a few beers and play a bit of pool ! Very harsh.

This better had not be the case, it fell through because you could not make it !!!
I spoke to Shrek and rearranged it for when we had a free cup week.....

The Rileys B team are trying to reassemble and play from Victory Club Arnold.

Not sure about the John Harvey thing, but one thing that IS bang out of order is for someone to refuse to play because they were a couple of players short and hence forfeit two leg unnecessarily.

As for saying the team has wrapped up - just because YOU don't want to play doesn't mean everyone else has to take their bat and ball home.

Come on the rest of Rileys 'B' - let's see you stay in the league and make a go of it - whichever venue you move to. If you need to sign more players on, just let us know and we'll accomodate you.

Some people work to make a difference. Some people would rather just whine (plus they usually are the ones with a small penis). Think before you post - Which one are you?

I think they are taking their bat and ball to the park tavern brink. 5 of them. Hope this is still the case anyway, i think it was sorted yesterday to get them transfered to us.

I forgot to hit a cushion last week and lost the leg....the bastards called a foul against me. It was an innocent mistake and I would have thought that in this league where rules apparently just get in the way of a knock around, they would have been good sportsman about it and let me off with a warniung !!!
