Andy Leese deservedly took the £100 winners prize with Tony Wyatt earning a decent £50 as runner up. Barry Hudson of Arnold Liberal Club won the Plate and went home with the £50 on offer after beating Garry Sherwood who received £25 as a consolation.*

I bet you wouldn't have brought this up had you won it....

I'm sure the England selectors thought if they took me on and gave me the job, I'd want to run the show. They were shrewd because that's exactly what I would have done
