Yes - well done the eagle! a pity the game seemed to be decided by such fortune in the final frame but to be fair Steve controlled the game for 99% of the time and we were VERY lucky to win the previous leg. Eagle played better on the night, well done again. What a shame that this same team will not be together next season, all the lads who played last night did you proud and it will be such a shame that they are not likely to play in a cup final again. I think you are definitely installed as red hot favourites for the League this coming season - takes the pressure off us lol

to silence any doubts that the lads that played last night wont be playing together next season ,,,,we will!!!!the only 2 that wont... will be daz kitch and tommy gun...
add to that the signing of 5 new strong single legs and you have to realise we mean absolute business and have strengthened instead of weakened as is the norm.last night was a benchmark for my team as it was the 1st time we have beaten the cherrytree lads ever!!!now we know we can beat any team in the league.

tony and i have done our male bonding bit and as the atmosphere was electric it was inevitable it would get heated...a few fireworks later and the guru and i had kissed and made up...respect in all aspects to all the cherry tree team staff and supporters.

Well done the Eagle boys! you did me proud last night.Commiserations to the Cherry Tree who battled right to the end.
The best team won on the night with no decisions going our way but still fought hard to come out 5-4 winners!
It all started with Nobby winning the first leg against Tony Guy and Trev Chambers 1-0 Eagle.
Cherry pulled the next one back with a jubilant outburst by the Ref!! (hello i thought, we are up against it here!!) 1-1.
Next up Matt Mac,cheers easy 2-1 Eagle.
Pud put up a battle but Body won and the ref was again made up! 2-2.
Neither PJ or his partner Trev could outwit Sheephead 3-2 Eagle,
Joe Crespo what can i say.....sublime springs to mind! made Snowy look second rate! 4-2 Eagle.
Tony Wyatt v Tommy Gone,unlucky my old drinking mate,hopefully see ya in the Cup next season! enjoy yourself down in the 2nd tier, 4-3.
Ady v Bubba and the ref next,should have cleared up but messed it up,pulled a mint safety out the hat only for Bubba and the ref to fluke one on me,(sad but true!)4-4
"Come on Rob Taylor" the ref shouted! joined by the rest of his mates at Cherry!But they must have forgotten Eagle still had the ICEMAN Hotchkiss! and up he stepped with a glint in his eye and cue in hand,the solemn look on the ref's face said it all!Taylor was up against it and 5 minutes later it was all over! EAGLE 5 CHERRY AND TREV THE REF 4. LMAO

Thanks for your comments mate,just to go through them Hotchkiss was lucky to land plum on the middle bag and yes Bubba was lucky to win his game against me (even with the help of the ref)
As pud said "there are only 2 players leaving" and they are off to put another team in the league!which can only be good news!
As a whole the Eagle played out there skin Friday night to beat your lot,but i do hope Daz+Tommy do reach a final even if its the Plate Final,just to keep the Kitchens Eagles name alive...lol
We could be, as you say "installed as red hot favourites for the League this coming season" but i think there are some good teams out there! including Cherry,Spot On(Chequers) and Railway who have a shout, but in my mind i would like to defend the Cup  next year against the Railway so Trev cant ref it!  
Once again thanks for your comments a true gentlemen and the only one of your lot or anyone else if it comes to that, who has genuinely said "WELL DONE"!!!  and i look forward in playing against you next season.

Yea buts lets be right mate,you played and won an important leg for us and deserve a trophy,apparently the cherry are changing there shirts next season with "Trev's face priceless" instead of "Cherry tree players priceless" on the back.
