I certainly envy the "retained" who haven`t got to go through the trials, 46 down to 10.
There are probably 15 to 20 of these new/triallists who would grace any county squad so it will be incredibly tough.
Tis all for the good of the county though, should lead to the strongest squad the county has ever had - in a couple of years time. Good luck to all  images/icones/icon10.gif

Totally agree Tony, and from a captains point of view, it is going to be heart breaking to turn over 3/4 of these players away. However, I think having all these players that have put forward for trials will send out a message to both the A and B team players that there are plenty of players now waiting to take their place in the squad. Which in turn can only be good for both A and B teams and the County as a whole.

You've got between slim chance and no chance and slim chance just left town.  smile/hapface01.gif   smile/hapface01.gif   smile/hapface01.gif   smile/hapface01.gif   smile/hapface01.gif   smile/hapface01.gif

It's a wash kid....you're in Atlantic City now, not back in the Stock Room playing with baby dolls.

2 days to go everyone.

A lot of preparation is going into the trials on Sunday and we are extremely reliant on all players turning up and registering as soon after 10am as possible in order that the event can begin on time at 10:30.

The event is fully subscribed and I have a list of reserve players now hoping to take the place of anyone who cannot attend the event. So if any of the 35 morning trialists or 11 afternoon retrialists are now unable to attend for any reason, we will really appreciate if they can let either Pat Kelley or myself know in advance so that someone else may have the opportunity to compete.

Also, we have invited reserves to turn up on Sunday morning in the hope of replacing players who don't turn up, so to avoid disappointment please ensure you are on time for this event.

For directions, here is the link to the Phoenix website... http://www.phoenixcuesports.com/eastwood-ng16-3aq.htm

Once again, please let us know in advance if there is any change of plan by any trial participants.

Contact numbers are: John 07710 903 860. Pat 07973 186 184.

Thanks

Some people work to make a difference. Some people would rather just whine (plus they usually are the ones with a small penis). Think before you post - Which one are you?

two late substitutions.

Paul Wainwright for Dan McDonald
Darren Petch for Richard Lee

If any of the 35 morning starters do not turn up for registration tomorrow then reserves will be taken on a first come first served basis tomorrow morning.

If anyone scheduled to attend cannot make it for any reason, then please let us know so that we can give any late entrants a chance.

Best of luck to everyone tomorrow.
