As i said in other forums i am looking to work with the other local organisers (Jimmy, Steve, Col) about setting up a calendar of events for next season which will be open to Notts players only.

Just to let you know Col is no longer the Manager of Rileys Nottingham but you can gladly still speak to myself or Scott about tournaments

How come Col has left?

And who is Scott?

Yes mate im liking the idea of a "Notts Tournament Committee" to get better events in the county. With the backing of the county association im sure we can make Notts the place to play pool in the region!

The lucky sod got a promotion and is now working down south!

Scott is our new manager, you should know him... Scott Simcox???

Myself and Scott will be trying to run a few tournaments at Rileys from now so if we will be glad to help you out with organising these if need be.

I think if we all work together like you say then it could be a big push in Notts pool and get more people entering into these tournaments. Could also get a few more juniors into these for experience.

Hope Scott is in to pool as much as Col was, I know he has done a lot for the leagues and also the teams playing from Rileys!!! Hopefully this won't change

Scott is always looking at ways to get more people into Rileys so he'll want some of our comps at Nottingham.

Ive been working this week on a few ideas for a Notts pool calendar, i'll pass these onto Curtis tomorrow at Eastwood and take things from there. If it all pans out it 2009/10 will be very good competition-wise in Notts.
