About the reserve list, when we get told a person cannot make it the top player from the reserve list will take said place and so on.

John Harvey has been added because Matt Coates cannot make this now.

Unfortunately I cannot make this now, but hopefully it will be a good turnout and a good day.

i cant make it either chaps .....clashes with an airport booking.sorry andrew simpson.

Tom Barker is only in a reserve place, but can't get either.

Is Wayne Appleyard a def Paul?

Just wondering why does there even need to be a reserve list? I thought this comp was all about celebrating the memory of Bobby. Just seems a shame to turn players away that are willing to support the memory of Bobby.

Got to agree with you Pat. If there's 50 turn up, just do a prelim round to get it down to 32????????

I agree also... it might take longer to run but its a day for remembering someone so i doubt anybody will moan about waiting around? if they do then im sure some of the marquis lads will stop them moaning anyways, ay tim? lol

yeah the more the merrier for Bob.. just try and get there early so we can pay our respects before the day starts proper

I agree too. I think it would be a good idea to have a prelim.

But I'm afraid I don't make the rules, that department is up to Dale Mayes. I don't know if Hobbo and Olly have anything to do with the rules. I have been asked to keep the forum updated.

Has anybody asked Dale about a prelim...?

I spoke to him about a month ago about having more than the 32 players but he said that he didnt want it to get dragged out throughout the whole day and theres less messing around if it goes straight k/o from 32 rather than have a pre-lim. To be honest i can see why he would rather not have more than 32 but its a big event which a load of people in notts would love to take part in so i think fcuk it, get loads in, have a crack and have a good day for old bob!

I have nothing to sort out with him... i know hes pissed off which i think anyone would be but sooner or later he needs to accept that whats happened has happened and violence isnt going to solve anything!!!
If it comes to violence then hes the one who will lose out in the long run because he wont see his daughter or his grandchild.

I wouldn't have thought it helps matters discussing something so private on here chaps...

I was just replying to a question to Ady, and tbh i dont think its that private anymore...
