Staffs A played their match in hand against Shropshire yesterday winning 30-14.That puts them 8 points ahead of us going into the last match on Sunday against Leics.They are at W.Mids away.Lets hope they can do us a favour.  

Come on the A team - let's give Bayden a good send off.

Notts lost 23-21 to Leics for the second time this season.Not bad against the best team in the country.We threw chances away again!Well done lads for a good season.

Notts A narrowly losing to Leicester 23-21 twice in one season. Both times, having good chances to win both matches. We started this season with an aim to rebuild the A team which we have achieved with the help of a commited squad, finding ourselves with a chance of making the National finals. The future for all the County teams is looking bright for the forthcoming seasons and with a little more consistency we can turn these close games against the National champions into wins.
I would like to wish Leicester and Staffs the best of luck in the finals and lets keep the title in region 3. We had a great turn out today. The Phoenix was packed and the whole room stopped playing their games to give Bayden and Tara a well earned round of applause as a send off. I wish them both all the best for their new life in New Zealand.
