The B team had a fine away victory today away at Shropshire winning 33-11.....

The match was always going to be about sending an early message out to the rest of the region with our new and improved B team...Shropshire who have also made some good additions to their squad were up for the game aswell so it was important to get a good start!!

That we did with us only dropping 2 legs in the opening set. A lot of the new faces started the match and didn't show any nerves at all as we continued to hit Shropshire hard... The second set wasn't as convincing only winning 6-5, however after that it was comfortable only dropping 2 legs in each of the next two sets!!

Some great individual performances today with Andy Hind picking up the Man of the Match award for Notts with a 4 out of 4 performance!!

Jay Ward, Ryan Hewitt and Debutant Martin Lovett all deserve a mention for their 4 out of 4 performances also!!

Everyone in the team performed well today and there was a real togetherness in the team and it was a great day all round!!

Everyone enjoyed the matches and really got behind one another even if they started the match or not!!

Well done Notts B, this squad is a force to be reckoned with - Leicester next, lets smash them as well!!!!

Good start guys! We won 31-13 against west mids going 3-2 down early on. We then storm well clear, befor winning the last set 6-5, which was disappointing as we really battered them and missed very few chances.  Great result for u boys also. We have staffs next, and with u v leics, it should be very interesting to see how we both fair. Good luck and well done

Excellent performance today. The entire B team squad played well.

Awesome performance by all the B team lads today! If the team continues to play at this level, i`m going to be a spectator for a very long time! Well done.

Awesome Boys!!! It was a pleasure to play in a side with that quality and togetherness. Can't wait for Leicestershire on Feb 22nd.    

Well done Notts B solid result keep it up, also well done to all the B team Captains lol.

Great Result, some awesome debuts as well, especially Martin, Deano, Thommo and Graham.

Daz and Steve Dove were given a chance in the last set and duly delivered under what must have been massive pressure, given they only had one chance to prove themselves.

I think the friendly is a good idea and it will give us a chance to have a better look at the new players for both sides.

 total distruction comes to mind ...a big shout out to all the new lads that started  especially martin played cracking pool ...as well as tommo ... white cliffes... but no taking it away from the mom the golden hind ...would like to say the dress code would need to be governed not mentioning names ..but  his pool made up for it !!

keep it up lads ...with team morale and yesterdays performance ,the championship beckons...watch out region 3 notts are on the glory path ...

i would just like to say something i was shocking but im not selfish so?

lets not get ahead of ourselves, one game, 38 pts, well done everyone, however i wish to post here and now that player selection will not under any circumstances be made to try and keep the team happy. i think that can only be achieved by upholding my responsibility to the county to try and win these matches as heavily as possible, i know this is not as simple as it sounds but you have a captain for a reason and i think if everyone keeps the attitude displayed yesterday then as a team we will indeed be tough to crack. what i noticed is that the strength in depth is there now. although previous squads have been very good this one is probably the best.(that remains to be seen)well done to new boys and if everyone trusts me and gets behind me(and each other) then i promise to deliver what we need , a winning mentality.

one ball at a time, one frame at a time, one match at a time, lets not pay the other teams too much attention and concentrate on getting the heaviest results possible.next match leicester, more of a test. anybody disagreeing with the above then please say so.

Does this mean you will not be getting a refund on your new clip board then Mr Churchill and can we take it that the power struggle is over and everyone can stop worrying about being knocked out by flying dummies?

yes, sorry about that but felt very compromised. no more toys in orbit. i have looked up the definition of captain in the collins and am confident there will be no more problems.

Absolutely behind you 100% whatever decisions you make Ron, I thought there was a great squad spirit and I hope we can all keep that going for the rest of the season.
