Challenge match - Notts A versus Notts B - Sun 1st Feb

There will be a challenge match between Notts 'A' and Notts 'B' on Sunday 1st Feb - 12:00 start at the Phoenix, Eastwood.

We will aim for a standard 4 X 11 leg format on two tables, but may extend this to 4 X 15 legs on 3 tables or some similar format to suit.

The day is also set aside for a Youth team open day on some of the other tables, so it will give the youngsters a chance to see the seniors in action also.

As there is an interleague fixture at 6pm for most of the squad, we will make sure the pool is done by 4pm and relax the dress code for this match.

We will of course use the match as a chance to get a bit of much needed match practice, but also it will give the team management a chance to look at players comparitively and get a feel for those players who could potentially move up from B to A and see which A players may may be better placed for a spell in the B side.

I know this is fairly short notice and respect players may already have other commitments. If you can't make it for any reason, please let your respective captains know. (Pat and Ron's numbers are in your handbooks).

This is a good chance to practice for the next fixture against Leicestershire on 22 Feb, so we hope for a full turnout if possible please gents.
