right lads. this might be a crunch match as so to speak but that can be said about the rest of the fixtures. so i ask for one thing this weekend ENJOY IT. come on boys lets show some unity and cheer on every frame. they know we can play, WE KNOW WE CAN PLAY, lets send a signal to the region and smash em.
i know results have been poor of late but they dont reflect how good a team we are so the results will come im sure of it. dont lose faith lads it will come.

Notts B lost 23-21, good quality team, think Staffs experience just some them through..... Much better performance by the notts boys though!!!

cant ask for any more from the team. play with that energy and passion for the rest of the season and we wont be far off. must say we had loads of luck. all bad. better lads much better.

yes Tony. think we could have won today but for the rub of the green and the odd chance not taken but you are always gonna remember the mistakes over 44 frames. good spirit like you say but we need to pick points up as its slipping away from us, mind you last couple of seasons we've started strong and crumbled at the end so perhaps we'll kick on now.
just got to repeat that every match and we'll at least be in with a shout.good to see you about as well.

you cant win without good team spirit and the result isnt everything but its the reason (to win).
what do you think we should do when we lose ? no point beating each other up, take the positives and go into the next match trying your nuts off.
what i dont understand is why people should have a problem with the teams i play in wanting to win things? if your happy just turning out and having a beer regardless of the result good luck to you but dont knock us for trying?

I haven't got a problem with you wanting to win things with the teams that you play for, what i'm against is people like you knocking teams like us by saying things like "Winning is everything" when you beat us.
Positives can be taken from the match. This is how teams like us look at results.
We always want to win but "Winning isn't everything". So don't knock teams like us for trying!
If winning was everything like you originally said then a 23-21 loss would be meaningless.

A 23-21 loss gets you 21 points (and Staffs 26). A 44-0 loss would be zero points and Staffs 49.

I bet it was so tense yesterday with all those egos in one room, prancing around like peacocks, look at me, look at me i'm so good at pool. Then they slowly deflate as the staffs superior team puncture the notts hypocritical minds. Did the banter not work for you yesterday lads?
