shrek you are a top bloke one of the best people i have ever had give me advice, even tho you wanted me in the youth team you pushed me to play for the mens i have alot of respect for you mate ignore people like him.

Well done Shrek for taking on the youth team when nobody really wanted it.

Nepotism is almost non-existent in pool - I speak from experience - as it is very difficult for an average player to hide in a one v one game, whereas in football you can have more than one duffer! Team selection is the managers choice anyway and some players need a kick up the backside to get their game back on track, if Rich thought dropping the lad might get the best out of him in the future, then that is to the lads and Notts Youths benefit.

Shrek has done a great job in my eyes also, kept the guys going, and now a WIN. Keep on potting juniors, ignore ANY negative influences, you are doing great !!

Some people are so funny.  From the little ive seen of Rich since i got my boys into Notts youth pool he puts the kids first and foremost and wants the best for the longterm future not the shortterm which is too many people's problem these days.

Notts youths are heading in the right direction after a bad season last year so maybe the knockers should give the management team some backing instead of moaning.

I can see Rich, and his assistants, taking Notts youths all the way but it will take time.  You dont win titles overnight.

Perhaps those who dont agree with Rich's selection policy should wait a couple of years then come back and we'll see where we are.
