Notts youth are holding an open day on 1-2-09 AT PHOENIX CUE SPORTS this will be an ideal time for parents to meet the management and new players to come and see how it all works

I think my step daughter sam wants to play. I play for derbys, as i think u guys know, but my partner Sue works at the phoenix and sam her 13 yr old daughter loves to play and is getting to be a decent potter. Im going to bring her down to the open day, as she knows a cpl of the lady players and youths and doesnt want to play for derbys! ggrrrr!

There's talk today of having a Notts 'A' versus Notts 'B' friendly on the same day. Need to confirm with A and B team captains yet, but this may be good for the potential Youth team players to also see the Seniors in action.

Not sure of the format how you want to run the Youth day, but we'd only need a couple of tables and it may help make the day more interesting for all.

I'd welcome feedback for this...

i think thats a great idea john we are running a youth comp but we wont be using all the tables and it will be good for the youth to see the men in action
