Brickmakers b Squad seem to be struggling to kick the new season off with a bang. Having won the league for the last two seasons as the travellers at apperknowle the team moved to a brand new venue at Brimmington called the brickmakers Arms, The ladlord Phil and his wife are fantastic hosts and the locals are all very nice people giving endless support to any pool team playing there.
This is possibly for me a very good friendly pub with possible potential to host the Chesterfield Inter league team .

We have won our first four matches but not without a struggle and this is only my opinion. We played newly promoted team Masons arms at brampton with some quality players last Monday and very quickly went two nil down and things were looking very bad untill main man marps had a bit of luck and that seemed to change the complete night. We ran out five teo winners. All in all it ended up being a good night for us.
I am sure the engine will move into gear one week and we start to get some excellent results.
The Chesterfield monday league this year appears to be the strongest for a long time so its going to be very difficult for many teams to maintain consistancy.
I will report again next week so best of luck to any town players  and look forward to meeting you all on the way.

Cheers Liam to be quite honest its only the players in the interleague set up and county that know this site exists in Chesterfield so I think I will have to spread the word and try to getb teams to report on match results every week just for a bit of fun and that may get other talented players from Chesterfield involved.

To be honest Steve I think you would be better off using the existing Chesterfield forum for local league stuff and keep the Notts forum for Interleague and county

Just checking to see if any of your interleague lads have had that sense of humour bypass reversed yet?
