Hello all,
We raised £520 for Male Cancer research on Saturday 12th October.
It was supposed to be just a few teams getting together for an end of season bash, but Loz Sanderson and I decided at the last minute to make it a charity event. After some considerable thought (about 5 minutes) Male cancer Research seemed appropriate.
We are going to use gift aid; every £1 raised the government adds 28p so our total is boosted by about £145!

Calverton and Arnold League have kindly donated £50 to this worthwile cause and there have been some not inconsiderable personal donations too.

I am hoping the other Notts leagues can follow Calvertons lead and make a donation to this very worthy cause.
