Hi does anyone know the format of what the KO Cup day will be?

2 groups of 4 teams, all play each other so 3 matches each.
Top 2 from each group go thru to semis, bottom 2 thru to Plate semis.
Semi finals will be played straight after group matches
Final is on Presentation night at Spot On

Should be much better than last season and hopefully all tables available will be used for matches.
1 table per match will last for 2 or 3 hours, so hopefully 2 tables per match should speed things up
Maybe Jimmy or Steve or Elmo has some input into this

Sounds good Al. Waiting time should be quite minimal then

Based on 8 tables groups should take appox 4 1/2 hours.(6 matches per group,based upon 90mins a match on two tables)+ semis should be a 6 hour dayish.

Not like the 12 hours or so like last time then!
Who else is not playing in it Al?

To be fair the only way i could convince Coatesy to go was to tell him it's just going to be Royal Oak and White Horse there!
Imagine how mad he's going to be when he realises he might have to play against some of the good teams!  

My memory is a bit hazy, how did The Vale get on the other week against White Horse?

All i can remember was the table was made of glue....

just finishing a 12 hour nightshift then back home for 3 hours before my lift to the phoenix arrives. then no doubt beer will flow which will cause baldilocks to miss balls and give frames away cheaply . . . . just thought id get my excuses in before the event starts
