Neil's spies are correct, last I heard White Horse were 8-2 up against the Storm - wish I could have gone now!

Typical comment from Ron there, no respect to the weaker sides.

In actual fact, with no disrespect to carol we only really had 5 players tonight and treated them to a spanking.
Jimmy was missing a couple of his better players but still had a far better side on paper.
Horse jumped into a 3-0 lead with wins for Trev Anderson,Paul Iremonger and Chris Whitts over Corey,Jimmy and Dale.
A great double by senior Blackshaw and a win for olly over carol pulled it back for storm.
The horse then rattled off the next six frames with 2 wins for Yatesy,Daz petch beating olly and further wins for Paul and Chris and a quality clearance from Trev. Lovett winning the last against the ever improving Carol.
As always a great night against the Storm, sorry Jimmy we actually turned up on the table for once!!!

To be fair mate I would have fallen off my chair if he had wrote "great win for the Horse, well played"

You back next week?, it was fairly stressful trying to scratch a team together last night. Adam was loved up and let me down at the last minute,Chris S was away and you had ya ball and chain on!! LOL.
Still, not a bad result eh bet you were fairly shocked lol.I was !!

Judging by our teams efforts to get to away matches this season Justin, I wouldn't be suprised!!
I live just round the corner from the Vale and only ever been once and that was for a pool match.
It's been done up hasn't it?
Get Coatsey along and i'll fancy our chances lol!!

quite a shock result result though even if they only had half a side (wadr). Still every dog has its day. Cant see why my comments are disrespectfull.

I don't think anyone is disputing the shock result Ron, but " Well played White Horse" wouldn't have killed you...

I'll be back next week Chris, I'm ball and chain free...

Cant help yourself can you Ronald, disapointing attitude from a county captain tut tut tut ...

The storm turned up with more players than us and as Chris said, on paper a better team. Fortunately for us we finally played like we can do. If we could muster up a team week in week out then there would have been a few more upsets or close matches.

We had more players missing than the Storm Ronald ie we only had 5 + Carol, the only shock was that we all played well on the same day for once.

Well played the White Horse, another fine win for the underdog, on the back of Sundays Cup upsets its a fine win for the 2nd string pool teams of Nottingham lol.
Who said they had a better team on paper - i thought we played pool on cloth

lets get one thing straight. Only my dear departed gran called me ronald !
Regards the attitude. What attitude ? I noticed a shock result on the forum and wondered what happened so merely posed a tongue in cheek question which was answered by the fact  that they didn't have a side. Good result.

Are you sure you can really make a comment like this though, you weren't there, you don't know how well we played...

I'm sure the England selectors thought if they took me on and gave me the job, I'd want to run the show. They were shrewd because that's exactly what I would have done

They had a bigger side than we did and to be fair the only player missing from their last 3 outings was crowson and he was replaced with Lovett so not a bad substitute I think you will agree

of course he can say "well done" he doesn't need to be there to be able to say that based on the result but unless he watched the match he  can't comment on the play surely. I'll go slower if you cant keep up !
