Sheriff's 5 - 7 Vale

Vale went 3-0 down with captain twat twix losing again  smile/hapface01.gif he redeemed himself with a quality dish in the 2nd set as Vale went 6-5 up.

I went on to try and get the win in the last frame, but sheriff's ran out of players.

The table wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be given the criticism on here.

New team wanted

White Horse 3 - 9 Phoenix B - An efficient performance from Pat and his band of merry men, saw them pull out 7 consecutive legs after White Horse fought to 2-2.

Well played Pheonix, or is that well done? Can't remember we we all agreed on....

The Storm 10-2 Royal Oak.

I would say it was the backlash from last week but with only 6 players again it wasn't!!! we did manage to fly into a 7 nil lead then sloppy work from lovenest and myself on the last leg gave The Oak little consolation!!

Great night, full of banter from the start. Food was tremendous. See you guys next season.

Thanks for the compliment
And i guess it's a good job they didn't have a player for the last leg otherwise i would have had to play the playoff leg  smile/hapface01.gif

well you were there. Mostly anyway. Apart from the mid match team meeting which worked wonders for us lol. Next time you are waiting for someone to arrive try the odd toilet break in between the other legs ! If you had asked to skip a leg we would have done so. Bit poor i thought. Oh and the grub looked fab. !

why does a bowler need a manager !

not as fab as your leg Ronald lol how you won that I will never know ... lol Even your captain was losing the will to live , I think Pat got through 3 ciggaretts in that one .

Not the best night for us after last weeks heroics, well played Pheonix.

Now I know you you are taking the piss! I can only apologise for the grub, it was crap... We are trying to arrange an alternative venue for White Horse for next season (somewhere closer to Nottingham would be nice) who may actually make an effort when it comes to supporting a pool team.

Don't panic Jimmy, it will still be Supreme League for us!

The White Horse was very supportive at the start of last season, but the landlady's interest seems to be on the decline... bit like some of the team (yes, me! before Chris/Mars Bar/Petchy/or any other clever fooker says it!)...
