Was talking to Jimmy Five (bet that name hasn't been heard for a few years!) about this on Monday night...

What do people think about it?

No problem with it?
Annoying when it disrupts matches?
Bit sad haring it all-over the place just for single frames of pool?
Not bothered?

Do many players play in both Nottingham leagues on Monday nights?

Up until recently there were two Thursday-night leagues in Derby, and one of them used to ban players from the other league!!

I play for both leagues and i can see that it does make it harder for the captain to chose the team he/she would like to play and in what order as players are constantly saying "play me first so i can go please" as to which i am also a culprit of.

But if people want to play 2 leagues then they are allowed to so theres not much a captain can do to stop it other than tell their players that they will play when they are told they are playing which is what being a captain is all about in my eyes.

A captain chooses the team the way they want it and its a hard enough job without people asking to go on in certain frames.

This is why im stopping playing in 1 of the Monday night leagues

stop playing altogether kurdish, and save your pocket money lol.

dont see the point myself in playing for 2 teams on one night.

Exactly the reason i play in the notts and district league al!!!
Not playing for their interleague next season though.

I prefer the supreme league so much more and more fun to play in.

btw, are the supreme league setting up an interleauge?
if so i would like to join

Lee plays for March Hare, and only shows up for us if we are short of players, purely down to the travel really... and he is keeping that 50% average for us as well!!

I think so Al, Trev does the same on Monday but not for interleague.. Just because he plays too much pool lol

Curtis, I do hope that you packing up interleague has nothing to do with me not being captain anymore. I havent got the time which is why I have stepped down.....

You will have a really good captain next year tried and tested. Already 3 new signings..... from other Interleague teams.

Harvey & Gaz McLeod are the ones talking about setting up a supreme interleague side & i have already put your name forward Curtis & they would want you to join them.

As for me, i will be sticking with my Cherry Tree Notts Open side & will be making it stronger for 2010 with 3 new players....

As for lee, no its not because of you stepping down as captain... i decided to stop playing for N&DPL before i heard the news.

I'd like to play interleague so if you're short let us know?

Saying that though if anyone is interested I will set a team up for either Calvo or Noppl league ran from Park Tavern. Obviously not be the best team in interleague but if there are enough average players wanting a go I will set a team up.
