Wouldn't you have to actually play in the league first Matt?

I'm sure a few of the new teams in div 2 would welcome your experience

If all you want to do is play Inter-league within Nottinghamshire then you wouldn't need any loop-holes - to play for an Inter-league team representing NSPL (for example), you only have to be a bona fide member of NSPL (i.e. be signed-on for a member team).

The 50% criterion (which I assume you alude to) only kicks-in if/when your Inter-league team qualifies to go to Yarmouth, in which case you'd then have to be able to prove you had played-in (or been a signed reserve) at least 50% of both your Inter-league team's matches in Nottinghamshire Inter-league and your pub team's matches within the relevant pool league.

Anyway, whilst it was a fair comment from Kurdish about having to play in NDPL (for the time-being) for Inter-league purposes, I don't really want the thread to turn into an Inter-league thread.

I'm interested in what people generally think about playing in two leagues on the same night, and in this particular example how many players actually play in both NSPL and NDPL...?

What are you trying to say here then?

I am the interleague secretary & there aint no loopholes when it comes to playing in yarmouth....if you dont play 50% IL & 50% LGE matches then you dont play, simple as that.

Yes, you can play interleague, but what is the point when you would not be able to play at yarmouth?...the whole point of interlaegue is to play at yarmouth

Cheers Easy!!

By the way Jonaldinho, i am the captain of Spot On Tavern (NSPL) & none of my players p1ss me around too much. If we have a big game, i won't have any player dictating to me when they go on etc...so they can clear off to another match!

Cheers Easy!!

E-up Steve, sorry if you took that the wrong way mate. I know the rules regarding the 50% and I'm not on about Notts interleague. If I was to play interleague it wouldn't be for getting a chance to play at Yarmouth more like just having a Sunday night playing pool mate. So if anyone is interested like I said I will do a interleague team run from Park Tavern, Sunday nights for the crack and playing pool. Kev you interested?

Sorry John gone a bit  off thread.

Playing in two leagues on the same night isn't something I personally feel all that strongly about either way to be honest.

I've myself done it in the past when I was younger and keener on playing every hour God sends, but it's no longer something that really interests me that much.  I just think league pool should be about having a night-out with your mates now.  With the possible exception of teams that have an eye on a run at CoC, save the serious stuff and superstar team-building for Inter-league, County, Golden Cue, etc.

I just wondered how widespread the phenomenon was really, now that a viable alternative to NDPL finally exists in the shape of NSPL.
