Heard that Chesterfield may be going back into the Derbyshire pool setup.

It would be a real shame if they did, as they're always a pleasure to play against and we have some good lads from Chesterfield in our county side.

They've been part of the Notts setup for many years after the orignal Derbyshire pool organisation folded in the '90s. But rumours are they may be returning.

Anybody know 'owt?

Would be a shame,our team had many a fallout with their boys over the years,and are now best of buddies.

As far as i know there's been no discussion between the chesterfield players regards joining the derbyshire league.

   

I hope chesterfield stay in the notts interleague, as they are a class act and also steve finnegan is one of the nicest guys i know in pool - always a pleasure to deal with. Also their Rileys venue is top notch with a great table.  

This is the 1st season that i've not played for chesterfield since the team was set up and i've had many great nights at interleague and also days at county. Like liam said we've had many fallouts over the years with most teams but the lads do get on with most of you now and i don't think they will swap to derbyshire. I'm currently playing for a chesterfield team in the derbyshire league just to help them out with the rules but i could never see myself playing for derbyshire after playing for notts and i think most of the others think the same.
