Forest play on Fri 23rd Jan 7.45pm, so it will not interfere with the Interleague KO Cup

I know Trev has spoken to Geoff Wilson and mentioned this date is same as our finals day CADPL at Cherry Tree, its been set since last July and is too late to move.
A few interleague players are in action on the day and more importantly Tony and Trev run the day and BOTH have their own Interleague teams

Surely however is doing the calendar in future for inter-league should check the calendar dates of other leagues that play inter league so that they don't clash?

C'mon sort it out, a bit poor keep changing dates.

According to their Website the EPA recognises the last weekend of each month for Inter-League

we sorted a date out at the ncpa meeting in november. Unfortunately trev chambers wasn't at the meeting, so when geoff wilson & steve lally (phoenix owner) agreed on the date trev was unable to warn us of the cadpl finals day, that is why we changed the ko cup day to avoid a clash. i dont see what the big deal is anyway?????? we at least changed the cup, rather than said 'tough sh1t' like some organisers of pool leagues would have done!!

Well said Steve. In Notts we like to accommodate all players and teams. The problem is not the NCPA but CAPL for not being at the meeting and informing us of their finals day. But it is all sorted. Would it be fair to play the KO cup without CAPL not being there when they have supported the NCPA for such a long time.  NO

Decision made. Next question?   LOL

Good luck to all teams

Tashman. Fair comment regarding EPA dates for Interleague. Problem being CAPL use last Sunday in Jan for their finals day, can't play Jan. Then most of the IPA Tours are now on last Sunday of each month, of which we now have about a dozen players on the tour.  Haven't got a problem with what you are saying, it's sometimes impossible to adhere to dates. Take May for instance, 2 Bank holidays, County weekend and then Golden Cue, no free weekends.

Regards

Geoff
