Congratulations to the SUN VALLEY team at Yarmouth. Had me glued to the Internet all afternoon; what a great finish. It did my heart good to see them win, only sorry tha I could not be there this year. What name are you playing under next year?

Yes brilliant Alan, they are a credit to Notts Pool, als our other team Cherry Tree lost in a play-off in the last 16 to the semi finalists Netherton.

100% brilliant - well done to all.
Who said NOPPL was a spent force?????

Some people work to make a difference. Some people would rather just whine (plus they usually are the ones with a small penis). Think before you post - Which one are you?

Cheers Alan, when i was down Yarmouth, i said i have not seen a good luck message on the forum,so i had one eye out looking for you turning up.I new you wouldn't be far away as you have always followed us with a passion.A big thankyou to you Alan as alot of the new generation will not know who you are here is a little bit about Alan.Alan Savin to give him his full title was a area manager for Sun Valley before retiring.Bill Rigby (capt) and Alan (manager) founded our interleague side in about 1993 (guess as it is such a long time ago).He would come to every league match to support the lads.He would sort t-shirts for the team and a mini-bus for Yarmouth and come and support us down there. But talking to the past and present players they best thing was receiving a letter on the Monday/Tuesday saying"You have been selected to play in the Sun Valley super league team"with date a venue. The team has evolved over the years with about a hundred different players over the years.Sun Valley interleague side is now a household name in Yarmouth and one to be feared when in form.Cheers Alan for the hard work in the earlier years as you can now reap some of the rewards as being the founder.
